Dealing with finasteride Sides

My question more involves dealing with the worst known Sides from finasteride. In my opinion, the two big ones are Gyno and Impotence. I bet there are lots of other issues that arise with using finasteride long term but I really don't care if it means me keeping my hair.

If one were to just get Gyno from finasteride. Could one theoretically keep taking finasteride and just maybe get Gyno surgery. Or maybe just take something used to prevent gyno when on steroids, like arimidex or nolvadex.

In terms of impotence, I don't think any man in their right mind would keep taking finasteride if it meant they lost their ability to get an erection. It doesn't seem like there's much you can do to get around this one. If you were the unlucky person to get permanent ED off finasteride could you not just do TRT for the rest of your life? Or even get on v****?

Really curious as to another ideas for living with / preventing finasteride Sides.

Only way to deal with finasteride sides:

1. Stop taking finasteride

2. See the doctors

Experimenting with your body by taking more drugs is the worst possible thing you could do, who knows what damage you could do to your body

I personally don't believe there is such a thing as permanent sides after being off finasteride but that's just my opinion, I believe your own mind plays a huge portion into most of it.
finasteride is not a safe drug and not everyone can use it, that's painfully clear to most of us. Your best bet is going to the doctors and dude time heals most things.

Thanks for the response. I actually haven't taken finasteride yet. I'm just super paranoid about sides and im a hypochondriac so that would almost certaintly give me some nocebo effects when going on finasteride. When I read my original post I realize how reckless and irresponsible it seems. I don't think I worded my question well and might make a new thread about it soon.

"like everybody experience none to massive side effects with this drug, some people need more time to recover. At the moment i'm realising that my body was inflammed before taking this drug. For me the drug made functions of my organs worse, but following trough months of research some natural assumptions about health & the body as one organism speed up the recovery.

Just an example what could happen (in the right order): DHT inhibitor > inflammation (body out of balance)> gut health decreased, even parasite overgrowth > thyrid problems > hormon problems > adrenal fatigue

This drug doesnt change sth. permanent, but for some individuals it could be near to impossible to come out of it. Now its completely logical why this could also occur after taking this drug, it was just the signal from the body, that sth. is not balanced and inflammed ;)

Propecia sexual side effects- ideas?

Hey guys,

I was off finasteride for about two years and now I'm back on it as my hair has really started to disappear in the last six months and I just look old! It's really depressing me.

Anyway, the morning after my first dose (last week) and since then, I've had no morning boners or interest in sex. This happened in the past when I was on it more frequently. I also had a smaller amount of ejaculate and my dick seemed smaller too (not seemed, it WAS smaller).

I read that certain supplements, such as zinc and grape seed extract can help to reduce the sexual side effects of the drug.
Does anyone have any tried and tested means of reducing sexual side effects? I might reduce my intake of the drug, but after .125mg of it, I was already limp and disinterested.

I don't want to be bald just yet!

Simon.
Thanks everyone.
