Dear Diffuse Thinners, Are We The Most Pathetic Bunch?

i can't tie my hair up anymore because the very back of my head is so thin it's pulling my skin so hard when I tie up my hair. I know it's getting thinner than my hairline because when I part it, it just feels,
.. horrendous ..
If I was a guy, transplant wouldn't work for me. If I were to go for hair systems, I'd have to go for full cap. It's pathetic. I don't know how it can get so thin and I'm only on spironolactone for 5 months.
When you're a diffuse thinner, don't even expect to have any sort of hair style, ever. Every bit of our heads is pathetic.

In June, I was able to cut it short (#6) and just brush it forward. like that, most didn't even know I had such hair loss. Now, you can see through the entire thing. it's sickening. Like I am a sick, diseased rodent waiting to die alone in the sewer under the feet of people's humiliation.

Not really, diffusers can use concealers and easily get away with it.......

P.S.: And treatments usually work much better for diffusers than for receders!

first off, concealers look like sh*t on me. you can see through the hair onto the scalp where the powders are plastered on. Secondly, treatments don't work at all for me personally, and I am assuming not for Samantha either. :(

Is there actually any data showing whether treatments tend to favor receders/diffusers? I know supposedly crown loss responds best, but I wasn't sure if that's just because it's the area usually focused on in the studies

diffusers might get away with concealer for a while. receders are generally better transplant candidates if they're loss is happening gradually

either way it is not ideal

Obviously it depends mostly on the individual situations, sry you weren´t successful. I am (mostly) a Diffuser and responded well to the treatments and it used to be not noticeable (apart from Expert Norwood Spotters, of course) when I grew it out since I have large curls. I am more concerned about my receding Norwood 2 hairline, which ruined my whole face and is very hard to regrow.

Well, grass is always greener on the other side.......;)

Well, not really, but it is generally agreed that it is basically impossible to regrow hair on a totally bald spot.

WTF?

Being a diffuser means Thinning AND Receding. There aren't a lot of PERFECT diffusers (i.e. straight hairlines). So, basically being a diffuser means that you are receding AND are losing density AND the remaining hair looks like sh*t (I can know, I am a diffuser). Your normal male pattern baldness sufferer ONLY has the receding hairline and that's it (initial phase, in the end you'll be bald anyway).

Also, most of the time only diffusers tend to get retrogade alopecia and other sh*t conditions that f*** with your donor hair. Anyone who thinks that being a diffuser is better than normal male pattern baldness is a little coo-coo in the head.

Yes, we are the most pathetic bunch (as in unlucky ones).

It's not impossible. There was a guy here who used topical estrogen.

Is it likely? No, it isn't. But even if there is vellus hairs, or some terminal hair, it
is possible for some people.

Have to disagree. I've seen diffuse thinners, with no recession. And some can
regrow there hair. If they catch it in time. They can even reverse there Norwood a couple
degrees down the scale.

If they use a combination of Finasteride and Minoxidil, it's been proven to be faster
and better density regrowth than one alone.

Well, don't die there.

Die in some beautiful woman's pussy. Eat too much pussy, drink too much,
smoke too much weed and die.

Hate to see you die. But if you're gonna die, have fun.

If you're going to Hell, make some reservations! !

You're hair may be dead. But at the end of the day, are
plumbing is all that matters!

No need to disagree, I agree with that. There are diffusers who definitely do not recede. On the other hand, there are more than enough who do recede. In the end, being a diffuser means having thinning hair ALL over your scalp (with or without a receded hairline) instead of having aesthetic hair with recession only. The latter can be fixed by a hair transplant. Try to fix hair quality (literally impossible).

PRP injections, if that can be considered an option, only work for people who have diffuse hair.

Also, they don't take density from other areas (like hair transplant does). PRP can't regrow new hair, or
dead hair.

But it only works on the hairline if the person has enough terminal hair.

However, it is temporary. But it does work much better on diffuse thinners.

Have you tried taking estrogens or progresterone?

You're a woman. So there are probably more hormone options for you
to fight DHT?

Or am I wrong?
