did this really warrant a 2nd thread? sorry, but you don't look that bad. yeah, you lost a lot in 6 months time, but you have a great chance to regrow/maintain.

i think you need to read up on how propecia works. 1 month is exactly when most people go through a shed. at 4 weeks the propecia had thinned my head overall and my crown was looking way worse - it all came back much thicker at about 2-3 months. i've been on 12 months now and am still seeing improvements. if you stick with it, and minoxidil, i guarantee you'll improve over time.

anyway, i can hardly even tell your losing hair with it that short because you've still got a strong hairline.

I just found shocking picture of me taken just 7 months ago, the difference is so fuckin huge I just wanna die.

my story (as I cried it in the impact forum) :


Age 18
looking at photo albums, I had noticeable temples since about age 17.5,
I didn't care much and so learned to live with them.

Just 5 months ago,
on a trip with my friends (sorry for the quality, these are the best I have).

noticeable receeding in temples, so as in total front.

Now take a look at the following pic, taken from the same trip:

My sides seem thin because of the haircut, but it's not !!!
I shaved my had and buzz-cut it several times even to level 0 and they are still fuckin thin !

You can see my oily scalp and its relection in the front clearly, so for the receeding temples.
Also total thinning in front in the first pic.
I just can't believe how in 4.5 months I look again at my brother after for years I was praying to god not to turn out like him and finally my situation got even worse.

As for now,
I'm on my worst.
1 month on propecia and nizoral , 2 on minoxidil.
no improvement at all, things look like sh*t :\

general thinning @ front & sides.
left temple deeper than hell.

I can barely sleep anymore :\
Lost my hair in 6 months.

bro i got the exact same problem as you thinning in the EXACT PLACES
and my hairline is thinning and receding slowly too

im going to start propecia relax man ur stressin ur self out more then you should

anyway I don't really think Im shedding since I'm trying to pull out hair and nothing comes out,
also even when I use strength.

The fact it happend to quickly is fuckin driving me crazy =\
what's taking people years took me 4 months.
I couldn't ever prepare for it, 2 months ago I just took a look in the mirror and saw my scalp shining "perefectly" @ the front.
If I only knew it would be so soon I would start propecia a long time ago
