Thank God someone jumped in and warned of the extreme danger of women taking finasterdie, and especially at her age! CCS no doubt is trying to help her.
Folks, listen to me. Don't play doctor. Only a licensed physician can qualify the recommendation of drugs, and obviously the only one who can diagnose and prescribe.
Her hairloss may not be from male pattern baldness, although women can be subject to it. Please send her to first a dermatologist.
