Dermapen / Microneedling At Home - The Right Way?

Hey guys is there a right way for this? It seems online nearly everyone does microneedling/dermapen in a different way and at different frequency's

For example how many times a week should you or can you be doing it?
Should it be done just before applying Minoxidil?

Are there any general rules to follow here?
