I figure I'd just bump this, I'm interested in using the dermaroller and searched the site but didn't find too much. Is that b/c not many people use it? What are people's views on dermarolling just before minoxidil applications?

I use a dermaroller with Nanominox (before that I used it with Dr Lee's 5% minoxidil).

Hair has thickened up nicely, not so much on the temples though.

I will continue to use a dermaroller, as it doesn't really cost anything - well maybe $20 a year which is nothing. It also stops any itch I had on my scalp.

You can pick them up cheaply on ebay - search for derma roller, not dermaroller.

I know a guy who has started using a Scalproller as part of his daily regime, feels he's seeing a really good response using it with 2% minoxidil, swears by it!

Early days but so far he's had no side effects which he is loving! (Irritation was a major prob)

Can't see the harm in trying it.
