Well, I tried toppik and I could not get decent results, especially up front, even with the toppik sprayer.
I got dermmatch a few days ago. You need to follow the directions and practice the application technique to get good results. I imagine you would need a different application strategy for each pattern of hairloss and hairstyling. This is definitely usable. I asked several people if they could see anything unnatural about my hair, and so far, no one has.
I have a hard time using 2 mirrors and applying to the top/back of my head, so instead I comb my hair back which covers most of the top of my head with my own hair and use dermmatch behind the hairline in the front and the temples and "fade" it forword very slightly/subtly.
It does also coat and thicken the hair and hold it in place, yet it still feels soft, dry, and natural.
