It arrived in 3 days. At first I was upset because it was not the same color I saw on the computer screen. The medium brown looked dark brown, and the light brown more of a medium, so I was worried both would be too dark for me. But it turned out the light brown is perfect for me, so I don't have to mix. I'll mail the medium brown to my brother.

Easy application:
I just wiped the dry brush on it to get a little, and parted my hair and rubbed it on. It just shaded my scalp, but did not make it look brown. I can see this taking 15 minutes, and a smaller brush like a mascara brush would allow you to get less on the hair. But you don't have to be perfect. You'll look fine even if it is patchy. It looks natural, though the places you miss will just look thin.

I can't tell that I'm wearing it.
I run my hands through my hair and it does not come out. But if I grind my finger tips in 5 minutes after application, a small amount did stick to them. I have not yet done the swim test, but will soon.

I can't see it in the mirror, even when I part my hair. It just looks like my hair is thicker. I even go close to the hairline and it just shaddows the scalp really good. Note: I'm not putting a lot on. It would take repeat wipes to the same place to get a solid color. I went out into the sun with a hand mirror and could not see it, though the sun was in my eyes a bit and the mirror had some water spots on it. My thinness is just gone.

When I part my normal hair, I see a thin white line. When I part the covered area, the hair looks similar, but their is no white line. It is more like tanned skin. Natural, though. I don't think it looks unnatural when I look at it in the mirror, but I can't saw what it would look like by inspection of another person up close. My roommate could not tell when I asked him from 6 feet away.

At least when it was first applied, it was a bit less shiny than my other hair, so I suggest parting your hair and trying to get it mostly on the scalp.

When it is first applied, it had more friction than my other hair. It felt like my hair was dirty or had drying sweat, in terms of the friction. But the friction dropped off fast once it dried. I can't tell now when put my hand in it. Still not stuff coming out on my hand.

I'm going to wear it to my date tonight. I look so much better now! Not thinness! No scalp showing. And if she looks close, she will see scalp, but it looks like thickly covered scalp. She'd have to really get up close and examin it in the light to get around the optical illusion, I think, since I can't see it, but who knows. It feels good and does not get on anything, so I'm happy.

Now if I can just lower my hair line. Maybe I should comb it forwars a bit.
:) :) :)

Have you tried just coating your hair with it rather than rubbing it into your scalp?

I agree with css in all that he says! Dermatch is great !
It can be used as a stand alone concealer because it makes the hair look full through hiding the scalp in a very natural and almost undetectable (even in the hairline) way.
But on the other hand I dont think that it can make the individual hair look thicker and coating them. Thats why I compine it with Hair so Real which is also a very good concealer.

I use dermatch with completely dry hair and scalp. I found that it works better for me like that.

for those of you who don't know, I did have hair transplant, and have about 35 hairs per cm2. That is pretty damn thin, especially in the sun, even though my hair is course. Dermmatch gives me full density. Well, not as good as full density, but good enough that I'm not sweating HM any more. I'll get HM when it comes out with a good price.

Anyway, dermmatch came out in my sleep, or was absorbed. I did not see it on my blue sheets. My date never said anything or looked at it weird, and we cuddled a long time.

I re-applied it today in 60 seconds. Not as thuroughly as before, but I can shaddow out most of the thin areas pretty fast now that I know what to do. I'm good.

I thought my brother would be against it, since he likes to hide his head in the sand about sad stuff like appearance problems. But when I told him how good it works, he got excited and wants me to send it to him. I got no resistance. He just wonders if it will conflict with his Rogaine foam. He can't handle the PG in the solution, but now is using the foam.

well i got 35-40 grafts too so we are pretty much about the same in the front.

The 60-70 was not me. My goal with the third one was 50, but I don't think they grew out. Definitely not risking any more donor hair on a 4th procedure. Just dermatch for now, and HM later.

I just wish my hairline were lower. At least I can keep my hair short the way I like it, and have the density I want. It does come out in my hat if I'm not careful. Also comes out with shampoo.

my brother loves the dermmatch I sent him. His friend looked close and can't tell he has it on. He is a very diffuse NW5 with a NW2 frontal hairline (thin, but NW2 low). The dermmatch matched his color, just like I thought it would. With it in, he looks like he has a full head of hair. He is also happy about how long it is supposed to last for such a low price.
