I found a company looking up minoxidil on youtube. They are a company that sells a package combining minoxidil alongside dexpanthenol, claiming that the latter complements the former. Has anyone had any experience of this, I know how it theoretically works as dexpanthenol is something of an anti inflammatory chemical that dissolves sebum. But so what, right? It seems like the big claim that they have improved minoxidil is not met by the fact that combining dexpanthenol and hair doesn't pass the google search test.

Has anyone encountered this concoction? Is it legitimate?

Is that the same company claiming that with this added substance, you only have to put minoxidil on once a day?

Yeah, I think I\ve heard about it. Don\t know if it's legit though.


Isn't it weird how so many companies sell "new" hair potions; mixing minoxidil with something that's vaguely been proven to work, and claims it's the "new ultimate hair loss treatment".

I have a sneaky feeling that most of them are basically selling overpriced rogaine...

I don't think it's added to the minoxidil. It's used beforehand.
