I've heard that DHT is not the main villian of this story, someone on this forum said that male pattern baldness is caused by a series (he said a cascade) of events only one of them is DHT related.
When I asked my doctor, is DHT still causing thinning on my scalp......She said DHT does nothing....I was like WTF!!!

So what are the cascade of events, are they known?, is DHT the main cause here?

Fallen world, ever since eating from the tree, mankind now is in a fallen state, painful labor and birth pains, men bald, we get diseases, our bodies break down. Cancer, and all these malfunctions.

A lot of people lose hair due to DHT, so some people think it is the reason everyone loses their hair. Everyone always suggests DHT blockers, but DHT may not be the cause at all for that person and blocking DHT can cause sides, especially if your DHT is already low.

I think the best treatment will be Individualized. Get bloodwork done, check for deficiencies. Go to a dermatologist, check for inflammation or any type of skin issues.

Androgens are the cause of baldness and DHT is the strongest androgen. You're right though that DHT molecules don't directly make your hair fall out. There's a lot of intermediary steps between DHT binding to androgen receptors and hair miniaturization and it's not exactly that well understood how this happens

So theoretically it would be possible to intercept the balding process in between DHT binding to the AR and the ultimate hair miniaturization but as of yet there hasn't been any success in this avenue and there has been great success in stopping the beginning of this process which is DHT

androgen cause slow normal patterned hair loss in temples. There are many types of alopecia. The diagnostics need to improve because DUPA and diffuse thinning can be different susceptibilies to different hormones

androgens convert fine unpigmented hair into coarser dark more rapidly growing hair
