Did anyone using Minoxidil 5% without any Shedding?

Did anyone using Minoxidil 5% without any Shedding in the first or two months? Cause I shedd after using it for 3 weeks..just want to know, thanks

I didn't shed. The first 2 months, though, I do remember having my scalp itch like a mofo. It eventually subsided after the 2 month mark, and has not occured since.

I use 1% nizoral, twice a week, for good measure.

I've been on it for 5 weeks now, and I had no shed, just a little increased dandruff that the Nizoral now has under control.

So, I guess, shedding doesnt mean you are a good responder for that medication. Right?

Shedding is simply a potential side effect for anyone that takes it. Some people get it, some people don't, but it should not be used as a measure of a products effectiveness, no.

Hell yes I shed when I started minoxidil. that should be considered a good sign, IMO. In the next hair cycle those hairs will hopefully be replaced by thicker, healthier hairs.
