Was looking at this old video on YouTube, and you can clearly see some pronounced recession on the right side, some general thinning along the hairline .....

I thought that was miniaturization, but looking closely, it could be shaved for a movie role.

Yep not his real hairline, he shaved it for a film. Found an interview talking about it.
