I'm kind of curious about this. For me, my hairline appears to match up with my dads pretty much exactly, even down to the way my hair grows in different directions. Like, just by comparing pictures my hairline and my dad's hairline look identical. I even went to my dad's barber one time and they made a comment about how my hair was the exact same (in terms of the way it grew and hairline)! And my dad's dad as well, so I'm guessing whatever hairline I have is a dominant trait on my dads side of the family but I'm not sure.
Its like bordering on NW1 but boxed in hairline. I'm curious if this is a good sign that I am likely going to follow in my dad and his dad's footsteps? Or does this not really matter
My hair texture on the other hand is nothing like my dads side and likely comes from my maternal grandmothers side (which also doesn't have any balding as far as i know) and did not match my maternal grandfather's who did have balding (and thicker hair than I did), along with his hairline which is nothing similar to mine as well (at similar ages)
Did you inherit your hairline from any male relative? Was your hairloss pattern the same?
