So, I finally decided to do something about my hair. My story isn't different than all of the others on here, but I figure I can add my two cents to the pot of knowledge...

I'm 24 and have been losing my hair for about two years now. It's been a real slow process, and my hair was super thick to begin with, so it's just now beginning to show. I decided I wasn't going to wait until it was totally gone to do something, so I went online to do some searching for info, and found this site. After reading about everything under the sun, I decided to go with propecia (proscar to be more exact).

I ordered from http://www.111drugstore.com. My pills came in a little envelope 14 days after I placed my order. The pills look totally legit (but who knows, people are good at faking these sort of things). Time will tell.

I took my first dose today. Cutting up the pills was super easy, I'm kind of surprised that anybody has any problem doing this. I used a utility knife kind of like this one:

Hardly any powder was knocked loose, and I figure that won't be the end of the world if a little bit is lost. According to what I've read, a dose of less than 1 mg/day won't effect most people. If you use a new sharp blade, it seems like they cut just fine.

I think I'm going to take some pictures to keep track of the progress.

Well, good luck to everyone!

Oh yeah, I added nizoral this last Sunday. I only got the 1% stuff from the store, so we'll see how that works out.

I just finished my third month, and I noticed some fine black hairs around my temples. I don't know if they're new growth or if I just never noticed them before.

I decided to order Revivogen as a supplement to this...I'm debating whether or not to wait on starting to use it right away though. If these new fine black hairs are from the proscar, I'll just keep using it, because pills are so much easier than anything else. But if I start using the revivogen right now, I won't know if the new hairs are from the propecia or from the revivogen. We'll see what happens.
