Hello all,

New to this but will keep it short and sweet as I know there are plenty of people with pressing issues who could do with advice as well.

I'm in my early 20s and have diffuse thinning. It's fairly randomly spread, although the front of the scalp and the middle are the worst hit. I still have good coverage to the extent that you can't see any gaps unless in sunlight - apart from the front near the (otherwise still in-tact - shape-wise) hairline where it looks like a baby bird (I use concealers here).

I don't plan on taking Propecia. What is the best course of action for someone in my position? Continue with the minoxidil I've just started? Should I try one of the 'fancy' ones that block DHT?

Thank you!

Curious, what kind of concealer are you using in the front? Is it helpful?

A collection of hats. Because that's about your only chance without finasteride. Otherwise you won't be able to run fast enough to get away from the follicle scythe of the great norwood reaper.

Dermmatch. It's decent, nothing to write home about. It hides a few gaps and the issue if my hair looking thin in sunlight but I can flick my hair up or anything because the gaps show through, so I pat it down.

Hahaha! Do any of the other anti-DHT ones not work?
