Diffuse thinning but how bad? Oral minoxidil and toppik or buzz cut. Depressing the life out of me

I don't see any hairloss except maybe a tiny amount on the hairline but you might just be getting a mature hairline, how old are you? You should have taken a straight down crown shot from above and more close ups of the hairline to get a better opinion. Personally I would give finasteride a full year before making any decision and if you're not getting any worse consider it a success, regrowth is just a bonus.
If you must change I'd go the dutasteride or topical minoxidil route before oral minoxidil. Also add ketoconazole shampoo, it's a no brainer as you have to use a shampoo anyway.
A buzz cut wouldn't look bad on you you've got the right head shape.
