I was prescribed finasteride 1mg, found out im slightly thinning diffused at the crown. Very early stage but i have long hair so not noticable.

I took my second pill yesterday .5mg and my left testicle started feeling discomfort for about a day after about 2 hours. Today I am about to take my second pill in a row.

To test if it was mental i waited a week before trying it again after taking it once. Definitely real.

Can someone explain to me why this is a side effect? Just trying to understand what chemical reaction causes this to discomfort to happen as I have not seen an explanation on tressless. I understand this can go away in a few days. If I am feeling this, does this mean im susceptible to other side effects such as gyno, ed etc?

I am just so scared after reading all the stuff about this. What should I look out for and in what time frame?

I started finasteride a month ago and got nothing, no side effects at all.

I started name brand Propecia today, I'll let you know if I feel any different.

I kind of welcome something, just to show I'm having a reaction of some kind.

I had my balls feel funny (like a very very mild discomfort, sort of like blue balls) the first 1 or 2 days, but it went away on its own and haven't had any issues so far. I'm a month in, btw.

Took my third pill today and i didnt feel anything, so hopefully the ball discomfort is over.

Is there anything I should look out for in the coming months? No problem with boners yet lol.

How common is the gyno?
Just so scary to fathom im changing my hormone levels. Scared about estrogen going up, although i work out and am in decent shape.

It could be your test response increasing so your balls ache as they produce more test as a reaction to the decrease in DHT. Im big into my fitness and know of several guys who use anabolics and when they start PCT to start back up their test they get achy balls.

I would recommed you get your bloods done before you go any further. Always good to have the benchmark.
