Hi Guys
So I've created my own DIY mix, can you let me know what you think about ratios
To provide 60ML sprayable solution from old Regaine bottle ( Regaine removed )
DMSO 5%
Monopropylene Glycol ( PG ) 35%
Distilled Water 60%
Dutasteride 0.1%
Finasteride 0.1%
Interestingly I've never been able to dissolve Dutasteride powder before, it always stayed as small particles but the DMSO does a great job of this so for the first time it's dissolved a 100% into a DIY mix, the PG adds a really nice topical solution that sits on the skin for a good 30 mins before slowly evaporating or being absorbed into the skin probably because of the DMSO.
Anyway let me know what you think, I'm amazed by the properties of DMSO and it's ability to transfer almost anything through the skin and was originally planning on using 100% DMSO until I tried it and holy moly that stung, so I have reduced this to a much safer ratio of 5% which seems to be much kinder to my skin and when reading a few scientific papers didn't harm cells at this concentration.
Any comments or questions please let me know
