Hello there.
My name is khaled, i'm from lebanon.
Unfortunately like most of you guys here, i'm dealing with a horrible truth: Balding.

I started to loose some of my hair back when i was 18, didn't take it too seriously. but now i'm full of regret,nowadays my hair is drastically decreasing...there's basically some obvious balding spots but i sometime manage to hide them through a specific hair style, but when it comes to windy and rainy days, i'm doomed.

I already tried a hair product (Vichy Dercos) but it didn't work.
Right now i'm taking some pills (Forcapil)

Looks like the diffuse pattern to me. Did you think about getting on propecia?

Well Propecia is on my "to buy list". The thing is that balding is hereditary in my family...
both my brothers are already bald even though my father's hair is really thick.
So here's my question: is it possible at this age to have a hair transplant operation?

Go check out hair transplant surgeries on youtube, it ain't pretty. This should not be a consideration at age 21. Most people will recommend you wait until you've lost all you're going to lose, or else expect to have to get more hair transplant's as the loss progresses - and a good hair transplant costs thousands of dollars.

Lucky for you you still have lots of hair - get on finasteride (brand name propecia or proscar) immediately. I have no idea what that other stuff you're taking is, but finasteride is the only thing that truly works (my opinion).

It totally halted the loss for me (9 months and counting).

David posted an apology for OMG. I think David has become famous on all the hair loss forums. He happens to be very entertaining. I definitely think a book of all his greatest posts will make the best seller list.

Wtf... I am DEFINITELY NOT some guy "Davidoff" and I don't even know who this is!!

I am $tackz and I first registered on this forum not too long ago. I'm not some long standing prestigious member of hairloss forums .. my personality just draws negative attention sometimes.

Vichy Dercos with Aminexil? I would change that to Nizoral.

Forcapil is just kind of a multivitamin pill. You can take them for health but they wont help male pattern baldness.

Try getting on finasteride 1 mg(any brand) If they dont sell it in lebonon then buy it online although you will most likely find it at your local pharmacy. Also try minoxidil 5%. and nizoral or any keta 1 or 2% based shampoo.

Well thanks for all the folks who replied back.
I just got my hand on Both Nizoral 2% and Minoxidil 5%. I Found proscar (finasteride 5 mg)@ my local pharmacist. is it safe to buy it? Based on common sense i can cut the pill into five individual pieces?

You can cut proscar and it's cheaper then propecia too .
Can you get a prescription for proscar ?

Time for some updates.
i've been on the big three for almost a month. just some minor shedding....i noticed some regrowth on both temples, and nothing on the crown so far.
i'll be posting some pics whenever it's possible.


EDIT: No Side effects so far...i had headaches, runny nose, watery eyes during the first week, then everything went back to normal

I'm gonna post some old and new pics... i think that my hair is already thicker...might me just an illusion though.i noticed that on the left side, my hair thickened up a lot...still no obvious results on the right side.

He's an update
I think there's a slight improvements on both temples, i still have that empty spot on the top of my head(4th image) it's pretty annoying. and i've been off propeicia for about 2 days( couldn't get an erection at all) after stopping the med, things got back to normal; what should i do now? :shakehead: :lost:
