Perhaps it is a matter of semantics or maybe it is exactly that. In reflecting on this from my earlier years (you know, the ones that matter), I would look at guys with more/better hair in social situations and I would feel inferior. But insecurity comes with connotation of a balking or inability to act. In that case, I didn't feel insecure as I still flung myself into whatever I was after with no limitation. Like being in a class with people much smarter, but you can still pull off an "A".

I can say that with my current level of hair loss and current hair style (buzzed short), I feel more confident with women than I ever have before. Not just women, but men as well. I can't say that as my hair loss progresses (I'm like NW4-5 right now) that I'll always be this secure, but right now I've seriously been asking myself whether I would even grow it back or not if my hair magically reappeared.

For me I hate it when I see myself in mirror and my hair thinnings.Its more abt what I like to see.I love my hair

If all bald men experienced life as I did then this would be the case...

No bald guys are insecure. They're unhappy and frustrated that they can't date any woman, below average, average or attractive. Most bald guys take care of themselves and are confident, not insecure. But since it's impossible for a bald guy to get any woman, he's going to be unhappy, depressed, frustrated, helpless etc.
