I've been using Saw Palmetto for a while.. Not liking the results. I'm thinking of turning to Rogaine foam.. For all you guys using it, how has it been working for you? My hairline is receding, but Rogaine doesn't help that, right? It does help the frontal part though, right? Also, do you have apply it twice? I can easily put it on after getting out of the shower, but at night I already have styling gel in my hair so its hard to put it on again.. Will I still see improvement with only one application per a day? Do any of you guys still put it on at night with gel or pomade in your hair?

Thanks

First of all...I would say stop using the saw palmetto and start using either propecia....or the less expensive generic brands such as finpecia or proscar...etc. For the rogaine to work right you should probably apply it the reccomended two times a day. It may still work if you only apply it once but def not as well. At night I usually have pomade in my hair also but I still apply the rogaine foam. I have seen nice results after only using rogaine for 3 months. For about 3 weeks I have been applying it to my temples to see if it works. As of right now I haven't seen any results but I will hold my judgement until I have been doing it for more than 3 months. You might as well try....it can't hurt

I'm a little hesitant with Propecia or other pills? I've met people in the pharmaceutical business who have told me its not a wise health decision to take it. Have you experienced any side effects? When applying the foam with pomade in your hair, you just dig through to place it on the scalp?
