So, before I had any hairloss I had super itchy scalp (literally dandruff the size of $0.25 quarters) and I'd run my hand through my head constantly just to oil the head up lol.

6 months after this super itchy scalp period of my life at age 25, I noticed balding and it went pretty fast. After almost a year of balding, I made an derm appointment and the Doctor spent 2 seconds to look at my head (didn't do any test) and just said "that's male pattern baldness" and he didn't seem like he was going to do anything about it. Then I mentioned Rogaine and he was like yeah, go for it, it doesn't have any side effects.

I went to my primary doctor a few years later and mentioned hairloss and he just said to use natural shampoos. I mentioned finsasteride to him and he just said "you don't want to take that, that'll mess with you", he didn't even look at me, he was typing up a note on a computer. I didn't even try to get him to write,I just mentioned it, so it seems like he wasn't going to write it.

There is only one other primary care doctor in my town that takes my insurance, but I'm not sure if these primary care doctors know anything about hairloss, the one derm doctor in town was useless. I am thinking of doing an online doctor to do prescription for finasteride.

Not sure if I need to check my testerone levels or do anything first?

Honestly I read though the horror stories and I don't mind. The problem is I'm way too horny anyways so I don't mind a lower sex drive. Hell, I wish I knew about it in college so I could stop chasing girls and actually focus on studying more.

I do workout and genetically have a big chest, no not man boobs, but I'm afraid some people said it causes man boobs?
But obviously my biggest concern is there any negative side effects (besides the low sex drive and waterly semen), like does it prevent you from having children down the road or give birth defects? Concerns like that, I actually want a lesser sex drive and my semen production is more than normal so I don't mind if that lowers.

I am only gonna comment on your opinion on libido/drive.. I am not aure that you understand that if indeed it negatively affects your libido/drive (I am not saying it will or it won't) most likely it won't just tune it to your desired level. So don't be in a hurry to get rid of it...
