Does 5% Minoxidil Lower Your Blood Pressure Too?

I have the lowest blood pressure in my family....been using minoxidil for ~13 years. Wonder if it contributes to lower BP applied topically. I would say it does. Anyone else?

It's entirely possible that minoxidil is causing a lower blood pressure. But I don't see any reason to worry if it's not causing any sort of problems. If your blood pressure is lower, but still normal, then that can only be a good thing really.

But shouldnt it lower the blood pressure and not cause it to be higher ? in my case i am using minoxidil spray and right after i use it my blood pressure jumps up. No idea why.
