does everyone shed from finasteride?

from what I've read it appears that the majority do experience shedding, myself included. But there are others who report not noticing shedding at all.

No shed for me, on it 11 months or so.

The reason I ask is, I grow my hair pretty long...to a leangth that you can hardly tell I have lost any hair at all (I'm pretty sure I am). If I start on something like this, will it be noticeable to others?
