Does Finasteride Reduce Testosterone And Attractive Pheromones? Or Does It Just Affect Dht?

As title asks.

I'm 29, been experiencing hair loss verrrrry slowly since i was 20 yrs old. Thinking of getting on finasteride. I've been told by women that i seem like i'm seeping with testosterone which is apparently quite attractive. I don't want to lose that. In fact i'd rather go bald than lose that. So my question is, would finasteride reduce those invisible male energies that women love?

Those invisible male energies are nonsense. Do you look like Jason Statham? it may be the reason why they say this (Jasom Statham looks high test, with the strong jaw, strong beard etc)

Having low DHT is dogshit for a male, balding is also dogshit and makes you invisible to attractive young females.

There is no winning. Some people claim to be on finasteride and have no sides, I don't believe it. It's impossible that if you remove 70% of DHT, you will get no sides, its a matter of time.

Of course and again, balding suck and ruins your life...

pick your poison.

You prob have strong facial features, jaw line, wide cheek bones, thick facial hair etc.

The only way you'd lose these attributes on finasteride is if yo were to gain weight while on the drug, which sometimes redistributes fat to face and chest.

infinitepain, you sound very pessimistic. Mindset is more important than looks. If you believe you're invisible to attractive young females then that is the reality you will create.

I have thick beard hair and body hair but not a strong jaw line or facial features. I actually have kinda a baby face to be honest.

Doesn't lower testosterone. You will probably have a slight increase in test but it won't be significant enough to have an effect on your body. Most people say finasteride doesn't affect your beard. Testosterone is the hormone primarily responsible for beard growth. Personally, I have never been able to grow facial hair, before or after being on fiansteride. But I would say it lowers body hair. Body hair growth is reliant on DHT. So if you honestly care about your body hair (idk why anyone would), then you might not want to get on finasteride.

The fact that it reduces body hair is actually a pretty good benefit in my mind, haha. I'm hairy as f***.

Now just gotta find a reliable online pharmacy that sells it for cheap.

Admittedly i'm still a little weary about lowering DHT. Ok, it doesn't lower testosterone. But it does lower dehidrotestosterone. That's a SEX HORMONE. We don't even know how it works. How do we know it's not something that women are subconsciously attracted to? I mean it's the hormone that's responsible for growing the penis, and developing masculine features. Surely it plays some sort of role in masculine/feminine attraction.
I remember starting taking finasteride in August 2010 for a few months, and my GF of 4 yrs broke up with me in late September. Unrelated? Maybe. But it certainly doesn't support the fact that lowering dht is a good thing for attraction.

And at the end of the day, isn't that why we're all here? To grow more hair / prevent hair loss, ultimately to improve/preserve our attractiveness to women?? Sex makes the world go 'round

I didn't really notice any sides other than watery semen, but it was a long time ago now so i don't really remember. My exact concern is that the sides aren't noticeable, but have an affect on the unconscious attraction element.

If it makes you feel better i had more sex in 2016 and 2017 than i did in 2012-2015. I dont think it has any effect on a subconscious level.

I also get a lot of comments from girls that imply that im very "manly", voice, the way i carry myself, body hair etc

EDIT: i only started finasteride in 2016

Been on finasteride for 2 years, libido the same as when i was 16 and im 25.
Quit p**rn, as that did affect my libido with real women. My record is 8 orgasms with a girl in 12 hours.
