Does finasteride work without going in the stomach?

Hi,

I use 1/5 Cipla Fincar daily. The pieces are so tiny that I sometimes wonder how they can actually be effective but I realize I'm no chemist so I don't have a full understanding of things.

Anyway, does it matter if it melts in my mouth (on my tongue), or does it HAVE to be swallowed down to the stomach for it to properly absorb where it needs to be?

It can penetrate the skin.. so you should be aok.

yes, i can be absorbed anyplace, even through the skin
