Does generic finasteride really provide the same results as Proscar/Propecia??

The best success stories I have read, where people actually regrow and keep their hair thick, come from people who use Propecia or Proscar. You hear all the time that generic finasteride is the exact same thing, yet where are these success stories? You only ever hear from people who buy the cheap products that they recede more slowly, that it did nothing or little for them, or that their hair feels a little better. To add to this, it is common to hear that people go through a shed if they switch from brand finasteride to generic finasteride. If it was the exact same thing, as people claim, this would never happen.

Has anyone actually confirmed it's the EXACT same thing?

If you are thinking about getting meds from India or something like that ; honestly I wouldn't trust it. I got the finpecia and it was questionable and I had my doubts. Don't play games with your hair. Get a real prescription. I'm on my second day of legit Avodart and I can definitely tell it is the real deal... I felt pretty drowsy my first day and had some crazy dreams. Today I feel fine so far. If you don't have insurance though, it may be worth trying alldaychemist or something like that but I had my doubts with it. Without insurance Avodart is around ~180.00 for a months worth at Walgreens, and with insurance it ran me ~17.00 for a months worth. As far as generic propecia from a pharmacy it is legit. If you are too embarrassed to get a prescription from a doctor just do an online consultation. There are allot of places where you can just upload a picture of your male pattern baldness and they will call in a legit script.

Where can you do a online consultation at? I've tried asking my doctor more than once for a prescription but I always get denied.

I can't afford Genuine Avodart brand, so my Doctor wrote a script for generic Dutasteride. I get it from my local Pharmacy...
As long as its a legit prescription, being generic or name brand doesn't even matter right?
