Does hair look worse during a finasteride shed?

I am really worrying. Basically I have been on 1.25mg of Proscar for nearly 4 months. I am shedding like crazy, on some days I lose tons of hair while other days I don't lose that much. My hair looks and feels thin all over my scalp. So my question is basically what is in the title... Is your hair supposed to look worse while on finasteride during the shedding process, or not?

I am going mad!

I can see my whole scalp through my hairline. It is so thin. I am shedding after 4 months on finasteride... I am 18 as well. I can barely afford it.... What the hell am i doing wrong. I am on finasteride and nizoral and both of them have probably wrecked my hair instead of helping it.

Most of the guys who have had success here,have experienced shedding themselves before tasting success.So just ride it out for a while.
