Does It Actually Make A Difference If I Take 1mg Every 2 Days Or 0.5mg Everyday?

From what I read the efficacy is the same taking at dosage from 1 to .25 mg but not taking it regularly like every other day or so lowers efficacy...you are lowering efficacy by taking it once a week...is there a reason why you want to do this?

I am doing finasteride once a week...still debating if i want to do it orally (around .25 or .125 mg of finasteride) or use it topically...finasteride causes me major Telogen Effluvium is the reason why I am doing it once per week but if you aren't getting sides I wouldn't recommend it.

The dose curve is flat for serum DHT. Serum DHT isn't what matters though its the affect within the follicle. A research paper highlighted that to get the same 5ar reduction in the follicles that 1mg does for the prostate you would need to take 50mg daily. Dose is very important depending on what your situation, goals and risk threshold is.

50 mg serum DHT? I'm not sure what you are referring to but this is what I based it on: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26636418, finasteride 0.25% topical solution.

Yes that is referring to blood levels of DHT. That isn't what is important here as 5ar is tissue dependant - their are greater concentrations of the enzyme in different parts of the body. Genitals, brain , follicles etc..
0.25mg only affects the blood concentrations the same as 1mg . 50mg of finasteride has to be taken orally to inhibit the same amount in the follicle as 1mg does in the prostate.
Whilst the serum DHT demonstrates finasteride to have a flat dose response for the purpose of hairloss and indeed the side effects, finasteride is dose dependant.
