Does it look better or worse than it looked in summer 2019?

Looks better to me, a little more hair on temples, altough they're very receded, and density looks better but wispy.

We need better pictures.

Just finasteride. I guess I should really add minoxidil/dermarolling...
It seems that the best thing for the hairline area is to use an antiandrogen (or estrogen if you're willing to go that far), along with a growth stimulant like minoxidil. The reason for this is that finasteride and dutasteride only block DHT, but they actually increase T. The hairline seems to be extra sensitive to androgens, and if you are only taking a 5ARI like finasteride, you aren't doing anything to combat T. You could try an AA like fluridil, CB, or RU. If you haven't done them, definitely try minoxidil and dermarolling.

It looks exactly the same, the marginal difference might be due to lighting or camera conditions. That means you are at least maintaning, which the foremost reason why we use finasteride not for regrowth. And yes if you add minoxidil and dermarolling a week you would be a good candidate for the holy grail: regrowth.

Keto cream is also an option for an AA

Try adding RU in your case. CB is mild in comparison to that. Definitely add dermarolling and a growth agonist.

More pics with haircut. Would minoxidil help? lol
It’s still a bit thin. Ignoring the temples for now, you need more growth factors. Get on minoxidil and start microneedling. Next, do you feel like you’re losing ground or finasteride hasn’t changed much? dutasteride might be for you at that point. Maybe do 6 days a week finasteride, and the 7th day dutasteride or topical dutasteride (.5%).

I feel like I've maintained. I mean, look at those pics from the beginning of the thread...that was 1 1/2 years ago. And I think it looks a bit better than then?

It does look better, you have thin coverage at this point which is better than bald spots. I’m saying you should be adding more to improve your gains. But I’m gonna guess 5 years from now your hair will look even better on this regimen
