makes a difference to your chances of having side effects, but not that much more effectiveness. if u want something stronger and you're willing to face more sides, try dutasteride.

Been on dutasteride for 5 days and have no sides.

Had a decreased libido on finasteride but went away after two weeks. Even if 7% of guys have sides from dutasteride(I think the real % is way lower), that's one out of every 14. So it's not like everyone who starts dutasteride will face sides.

I think a lot of sides that people experience are really psychosomatic, and part of the problem is that people on here are convincing people to worry about them, and they expect them. This needs to stop.

That was told to me by my doctor who is pretty savy on his health knowledge. Its really not good to be chemically messin with the prostate in any way at 20-30 and that goes for any organ-- but the 1mg range is acceptable. 1mg doesn't do too much, but will do enough to inhibit scalp dht flow to an extent.

finasteride does not fock up your prostrate. Iwill only reduce it if one has BPH. Binding of DHT is needed for that to happen. Finasteride does NOT shink a healthy prostrate

Well medical science would disagree with your doctor because longterm early dosage of finasteride has shown to reduce even the risk of prostate cancer vs no taking the drug
