Does microneedling even work, honestly?

I started doing it at the same time as I started everything else (finasteride, minoxidil, etc.) as part of a "kitchen sink approach", so I could not judge it independently and gauge whether it has a benefit or not

Now I'm thinking about dropping it from my routine, but I am afraid of the possibility of losing ground

I dropped it and my hair is getting better. You have to just experiment with things. See what works and doesn't work for you.

Only 1 study showed any benefit and that was in combination with minoxidil. Personally I think it's overrated. Maybe it allows for better absorption of topicals but on its own? Doubt it has significant effect.
