Hello

I have not tried this: Does minoxidil work at any degree on forehead baldness?

Other question is: Could I stop having minoxidil for some months when my baldness had improved as actually?

Yes, minoxidil does work to some degree on receeding hairline and temples, although it wasn't tested for this purpose.

I use it on the hairline and it works very well.

Can you stop minoxidil for a couple of months and expect to keep the gains?

No, you a couple days - 1-2 weeks at most. You have to keep using it. It's a devil's bargain.

Yes it can work for your hairline area. No, once you start you need to keep using it. If you discontinue use, you will lose what you gained.

You need to educate yourself on Male Pattern Baldness and Treatments. There is no cure for heriditary hair loss my friend, and treatments take up to a year to produce results.

Start here: http://www.hairlosstalk.com/research/men/index.htm

See the 4 steps? This should provide you with the general information you need to know about hair loss and treatments.

goddamn, I don't want any hair on my forehead.

If I have to shave my forehead, next year, with the crown bald spot still persisting, that is another devils bargain.

By the way: how do you apply minoxidil on hairlines??

With Retin-A cream to make it more effective.

When I apply it to the rest of my scalp, I usually get a little driblle that comes down on my forhead. I wipe most of it off, but the little that remains around the hairline-- well, I take my index finger and massage it there into the scalp.
