Does Nizoral dry hair out in most people?

Yes, especially if you are using 2%. You need to follow up with a good conditioner and everything will be fine.

I use 2% every third day and leave it on for 10 mins, no problems at all. I use a conditioner about once a week (but never when I use nizoral).

Do you even have any hair loss? If so forgive me for sounding insulting, it's just that you don't look like it. Your hair appears to be above average in terms of thickness.

He has receding, though thick hair. Its just starting and its advised to start earlier, so maybe he is doing the right thing. Even for having 'thick hair' his front looks thin, i'm a diffuse thinner and mine looks thicker up front.
