I've read numerous personal accounts that Dr. Lee's supposedly odorless spironolactone still smells like a skunk.

The main reason why the 2% solution spironolactone stinks is beacause it has alcohol in it.The 5% cream/lotion does not have this substance in it there for it wont/or will not stink as bad as the 2%

The old spironolactone 2% formula with the "old spice" fragrance is what really gave it such a bad reputation for smell. The nasty fragrance and the spironolactone reacted and produced an aweful smell. After numerous emails and complaints from people like me, Dr. Lee removed the fragrance from the formula about a year ago.
As long as you don't leave it on your scalp for longer than 6-8 hours you can't smell it. It's best applied at night and washed out in the morning.
Under no circumstances can you apply spironolactone and the put on a hat and wea it all day. You, as well as those around you will surely suffer the consequences. :shock:
