Does oral dutasteride help gaining the hair line back ?

I'm 23, I use topical minoxidil for 1 month(twice a day) and oral dutasteride for 1 week. I didn't try finasteride because I want my receding hair line back and I heard dutasteride is much more effective in that area than finasteride. Will dutasteride help me to regrow hair on that area even I quit minoxidil ? Please let me know.
