Does Oral Minoxidil Worsen Facial Acne?

Anyone on oral minoxidil notice this?

Hadn't had acne since I was a teenager - even then it wasn't that bad. Suddenly relapsed and getting a bit around the cheeks / chin / jaw, basically the area that also has facial hair growth.

I suspect oral minoxidil could be involved but haven't seen anyone make this complaint yet so I could be jumping the gun.

Really odd. I did have other lifestyle changes at the same time but since my foreheads clear and it's really just popping up around hair follicles I can't help but suspect.

Is mask wearing mandatory wherever you live? Theres a supposed link between wearing masks and acne. Just a thought!

Yep. I experienced it too on my forehead. It's because oral minoxidil causes hair growth everywhere. pimples are caused by clogged follicles. The hair is closing the follicle and trapping in sebum

i just used bha's and some salicylic acid facial cleanser. it's fine now.
