Does Propecia cause spots? is it a sign its working?

Hi,

Ive only been using 0.25mg Propecia (finasteride) each day for the last 12 days and i noticed about 5 days ago 2 spots hjave appeared on my forehead

as im 25 i very rarely get spots and to see two bright red ones appear im ythinking it must be related to taking the 0.25mg finasteride every day

Is this the case?

if so, how long until it stops producing spots?

Is it causing acne for you ? This might be possible because of the hormonal changes it brings about.It normally shouldn't be there for too long or it might not even be due to finasteride.If you are not facing any other known problems,I wouldn't worry too much.

i wouldnt say its acne, its just 2-3 red spots appearing,

im thinking it must be due to the finasteride as i never get spots anymore and to see a few appear a week after strating must be related

hopefully it means its working/blocking DHT

You used to get those red spots before ? Maybe it is normal then and would disappear just like they did earlier.
