does revivogen work

Hi there i'm 27 years old and have started thinning up top. I 've visited a trichologist who has told me that I have male pattern baldness.

I started using Monox 5% and Propecia for three months. It has brought about a marginal improvement in the thickness of my hair, but I feel uncomfortable with the idea of taking propecia and also as I live in the UK propecia and monox is only availablr by a trichologist who charged me £300 for a three month supply I cant afford to pay this again.

I am considering purchasing a three month supply revivogen for maintenance as my hair is still fairly thick, but not as thick as it used to be.

Has any one used revivogen? Does it work?

I would be immensley grateful if some one could answer my questions. Thanks.

I started about a week ago. Too early to tell yet. I will let you know in about 3-6 months

£300 is a lot, by the sounds of it you got ripped off. You should be able to get a perscription for propecia for about £30-40 a month from your G.P. As for minoxidil you can buy that from most chemists or online easy enough. If you want to save even more money you could by propeica off the internet or quater proscar pills, which can be bought on the net saving you a lot of cash. As for the question sorry can't help.

Why

Why Go with Revivogen and not Rogaine? I was not a fan of Revivogen at all, very very messy, (not that Rogaine is not but not nearly as dark as Revivogen). Rogaine has been approved by the F whatever, so why not just use that?

Revivogen has decent word of mouth from end-users, but is messy as heck.

Moved to treatments.

I used Revivogen in the past. It didn't do anything. And it's rather expensive. You can use other much better stuff for the same money. I suggest that you use Eucapil, minoxidil and Propecia. With these three you're gonna cover the problem from 3 aspects: Lowering serum DHT (propecia), blocking the androgen recpetors (eucapil) and stimulate regrowth (minoxidil). Stick to these.

Good luck,

I really don't even buy that, but I know what your talking about. I think it was all initial hype. You really don't hear anyone bragging about it anymore. I would save your money and go with finasteride, eucapil, or even spironolactone. Minoxidil and nizoral are also highly recommended.

I was on revivogen for over a year and at best it slowed my hairloss down. I only used it once a day (as recommended, but I don't think that can be enough)

If you go with revivogen I would recommend using it in combination with something else (e.g. spironolactone)

The revivogen shampoo is excellent though and superb value for money

I'm thinking of going for fluridil because it seems to be getting good results

300$ is too much for 3 months supply of minoxidil.
you can order high quality (fast drying) minoxidil from Dr. Lee's website (http://www.xandrox.com)

Been on Revivogen for three weeks, in that time my hair has started looking much thinner on top - i'm hoping this is the 'shed' phase and in months to come the hair will come back thicker. I would be grateful if anyone has anymore information on Revivogen and whether this is what I should expect.

I would also be grateful if anyone has any tips about vitamins etc you can just go out and buy to supplement your treatment. I've Grape Seed Extract is good for your hair for example.

Hoping to hear good news from Revivogen users...cheers

Wow, it's been a while since I posted here. I've been on revivogen for nearly two years now. I think it has helped me keep my hair. Over the last year, I decided to add spironolactone 5%. I think that this combo is helping me maintain. My feeling is like what someone said here before...just revivogen once a day will probably not be sufficient to totally stop hairloss, though it will probably slow it down a lot. Consider spironolactone as well.

I have been using Revivogen along with Minoxidil for almost 3 months. 2 applications of minoxidil and 1 of revivogen. I have had some success in a short time. Filled the front in better than the crown. However, i can't conclude if it is Revivogen, minoxidil or the combination that did it. I am having a problem now with itching and dandruff. I have dropped the minoxidil to once a day, and T-gell for shampoo which seems to have helped.

I am cautious about using spironolactone. The reason is that I read the risks about using it in the pill for as a diaretic. It can cause tumor growth as a side effect, so therefore I don't want to place on my scalp for fear of such a side effect. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Think i'm gonna get some minoxidil then and keep my fingers crossed. I put Rev on before bed each evening, guess minoxidil would have to be done in the morning - what do you suggest?

Also, did you have shedding? If so, did you find it was because the treatment was working and you've had some thicker hairs regrow? Think i'm being optimistic!

Thanks
