Does Saw Parmetto work?

I was wondering if anyone has used Saw Parmetto successfully? Were there any side effects? I know its not one of the proven medications but I've read so many websites promoting it as having a similiar effect as Propecia.

My current regime which I've been using for 2.5 years is:

Rogaine twice daily
Nizoral 3 times a week
Just started using Revivogen shampoo on the non-nizoral days
Just order the lasercomb but haven't received it yet

As you can see I've tried my best to stay away from anything oral. I'd prefer to lose my hair rather than affect my fertility or any of the other sides.

Any help out be great!

P.S. Up until now, I'm still thinning big time especially in the crown. Despite that I'm not going to get off the regime considering it could make things worse. All I've done is added Revivogen shampoo and will soon start using the lasercomb.

I tried it and shed more hair on it. Not sure if this is a good thing but it did stop my head itching along with other nutrients i was taking. That was the only bad side effect i got. It might work for you but finestride is probably your best bet.
