Does shedding always occur in the existing hair loss area?

Just wanted to see if anyone else seems to spot their existing areas of male pattern baldness getting worse as this is what's currently happening to me and I can't tell if it is a shed or the male pattern baldness getting worse again.... ie can temples get worse then better again? Or is a shed always "all over", diffuse style?

Nobody knows for sure. But I personally experienced both a more receding hairline and thinning on top after sheds. The hairline was my worst concern though, but after the last shed my top has drastically thinned, so I really don't know a deffinite answer...

this is my opinion but I would say yes because the hairs in the loss area will be weaker than other areas so they will shed when put under stimulation (treatments) to grow back more coarse
