"There are no current data to support the use of finasteride in women with androgenetic alopecia. Moreover, pregnant women should not be directly exposed to finasteride by using or handling crushed tablets because of the risk of hypospadias developing in a male fetus." from McClellan, K.J. & Markham, A. Drugs (1999) 57: 111. https://doi.org/10.2165/00003495-199957010-00014
No, finasteride pill, not birth control. Is it better to take it at a certain time?
Oh, I see i quoted the wrong paragraph from that paper, my bad, fixed it. Not sure about time. I haven't researched this... but my guess is testosterone is highest in the morning, so DHT levels as well, and therefore you suppress most taking it in the morning? It'll probably insignificant anyway, it's more important to be consistent with the time. So a time which you are sure you are able to take finasteride. E.g. morning might be a problem to do consistent in the morning if you are into partying![]()
