Does thin hair regrowth always mean Androgenetic Alopecia?

I started losing my hair excessively in 2018
It was very thick before that but some of the regrow grew in really really thin? I noticed it grows long as well
Like longer than 10 cm

how can my hair go from very thick to growing back very thin in just one cycle?

It happens to the best of us. Next cycle you'll be totally bald

You shouldn't worry too much if you're not losing density atm
I am losing density I can’t tell if it’s getting better or not because all the pictures of the top of my head look the same comparing them from 2018 to now it just depends on how my hair is combed/sitting on my head but the thickness of my ponytail hasn’t gotten better

Could be genetic hair loss. Go to a dermatologist if you’re concerned and let them know. They’ll be able to diagnose if they’re any good

Really? Lol
Does it make a difference if I’m a female?
If you're female then it probably won't get much worse than it already is. I'm afraid I'm not very knowledgeable about women's hair loss. It's similar to men's but different, and the methods needed to combat it are likely different. The one constant is minoxidil.

Yeah it makes a huge difference, you should've started with this! Men have a ton of DHT that ruin our hair. Women not so much, although you can still have male pattern baldness, just that it is mild diffuse thinning instead of crown/hairline hair loss. Good news is, the fact that the thin hair is longer than 5 cm means that it probably isn't currently miniaturizing. Miniaturizing follicles produce not only thinner strands of hair, but since the anagen phases become shorter and shorter this also means that the length becomes smaller and smaller before it falls out and a new, smaller hair strand starts growing again. I don't know your exact situation, but what you went through could've been telogen effluvium, which thins hair all over but is completely reversible.

See a dermatologist and try adding supplement like Country Life Maxi Hair Plus.

It’s a progressive condition, just like with men. If left untreated, it does not stay mild.

When it’s androgenetic hair loss, the methods are mostly the same, which is why I am spending my time on a forum primarily for men. :)

With men it's pretty simple, too much androgens/androgen sensitivity. Fphl I think is more connected to the thyroid and hormonal imbalances, it's more difficult to treat than mphl. The two seem to have different causes, but the downstream mechanisms are the same.
I have no hormonal imbalances, no thyroid problems, all of that has been tested. My hair started thinning at a very young age (13-14). It’s extreme androgen sensitivity, and I respond well to anti-androgens. My mother has the same condition, she never did anything to fight it and is wearing a wig.

Then I imagine you would respond very well to treatment since your androgen levels are already low to begin with. If you're a minoxidil responder then you should be able to cure yourself with minoxidil and finasteride/RU
I have been on dutasteride for 6 months, finally having found a doctor willing to give me a prescription, and yes, luckily I’m a good responder to minoxidil as well.
I’ve never looked into RU, perhaps I should as well.

What do you think of laser combs?

Waste of money
Last question, what about fluridil?
I don’t have a definite diagnosis but I probably have Telogen Effluvium + rly early Androgenetic Alopecia
I’m scared to try drugs like finasteride because of the possibility of it messing with my period or risk of breast cancer

tologen effluvium wouldn't cause your hair to grow in thinner than it was before. By thinner, you mean the hair shaft diameter is less than before? If that's the case, that is Androgenetic Alopecia. There's no harm in using minoxidil, and that might thicken it up some.

Honestly it just looks like normal ageing, sorry to say. Minoxidil would help, but I can't blame you for not wanting to go there. Vitamins can help, biotin, msm, d, e, fish oil, folic acid.
