You can not determine male pattern baldness based on a high hairline (besides the entire term is relative) and it does not matter how high his hairline is, what matters is where it used to be and if it has moved. I have seen children with hairlines that were so high that they might as well have been NW3 although nobody in their right mind would claim that these seemingly pre-pubertal children are loosing hair to male pattern baldness. Now in regards to him, I have noticed that he is receding ( based on HIMYM ) although I think it may have stabilized recently ( Propecia? ), I need to check out some pics.

Maybe it's maturing... He's in his late 20's. Could be the end of a maturing hairline. His hair doesn't look thin at all.

I also find it odd that, if he is receding, he styles his hair so that his hairline always shows.

He probably does'nt have a problem with it, thats a pretty average hairline for a man in his late 20's.

His hairline despite receded is solid (no thinning). I dont think he is losing his hair at least from the picture i can see.

There's a scene in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" where his hair is wet and you can clearly see a receded hairline and a thinning crown. My guess is that he's been on meds since filming that movie.

Yeah, agreed -- probably since before that movie. Just saw Segel in "I Love You Man" last night and his hair already looked a lot better. Man, those celebs can just throw money at a problem and have it fixed. That, or they wear pieces for their movies. Probably both.

Being a fan of HIMYM i've often wondered the same. I think that he is receding slowely as is Neil Patrick Harris and I think Josh Radnor just has a mature hairline.

i say its male pattern baldness, take a look by his sideburn area, its sloping backwards and his temporal peaks(triangles on the side) are dissapearing, his hair is still thick however and maybe its just his hairline, but i think its male pattern baldness.

I have to dissagree i've seen actors with a great head of hair who have lost a lot of hair on the sides and temples. I think its a mature hairline that will take years to disappear if ever.

Mature hairline myth lost again..

Mature hairline is not a myth...it's just slow or stabilized recession, which more or less stays that way (but can shift later in life). If it was a myth then every guy who loses his juvenile hairline would end up bald.

Example:

Daniel Day Lewis young: https://external-content.duckduckgo.../2017/06/gettyimages-639600538.jpg&f=1&nofb=1

Marshall. Lol. Yeah he has lost some amount of hairline since the 1st season of HIMYM. Actually in the series, in 2020, he is supposed to be old and have a balding combover. But in real life, he still has pretty normal hair for an adult in his 40s

in the series, the year was 2020

You're peddling the same sh*t on Reddit about how mature hairlines don't exist. I don't think you understand how genetics work. Some people will stop receding. Jude Law. Will Arnett. Jim Carrey. Those guys. I don't even understand why you're here. You're obviously not balding.
