Hi, I am new here. I hate to be longwinded, but some background info might be helpful in helping me figure this out.
Over the past 1 year I have been shedding hairs like crazy in a diffuse pattern all over the top of my scalp. A couple of dermatologists said that I was experiencing stress related Telogen Effluvium, but I think that is only half of it. I have some telltale signs of male pattern baldness such as some miniturization as noted by my Trichologist.
The shedding was the heaviest during the past 6 months. By that I mean hair all over : bed, shower, combing my hair (just the slight touch of the comb to the hair and several strands literally jump out of my scalp from the static), even the bathroom floor at my work has a sh*t load of my hair.
I am fearing the worst that my hair loss is so agressive to the extent that my follicles have literally died before even fully miniturizing From what I can see, there is absolutely no regrowth in the past 4 months. All I see on my scalp is barren spots of missing hair. The thing I really fear the most is that my chronic stress/anxiety disorder has played a major part in shocking my hair follicles into dying so swiftly. :sobbing:
