Donor Site

Hey everyone,
quick question its been 5 days and the FUT site is still quite uncomfortable. I was informed this would last few days only, but feeling quite sensitive to touch. Also, itching like hell...

Is it OK to sleep normally from now on or continue sleeping slightly upright until the staples are out?

I would suggest to sleep upright.

In cases like this, you should always follow the instructions given to you by the surgeon.

Generally, you should be able to sleep normally after a few days, but the donor area can remain sensitive or numb for twelve months or more. It depends on the skill of the surgeon and your bodies ability to heal.

thanks for the info. Just bought some Aloe Vera Gel for thr donor scar, let's hope it might reduce the itch. Can't wait to get these staples out!
