Should existing users of 5% minoxidil make this conversion?

Looking at the price, the 12.5% version is 4X that of Dr Lee's 5% regular minoxidil. Would one be better off applying the 5% solution multiple times per day assuming its convenient to do so?

Keep in mind you also get twice the amount of solution in a bottle of 12.5% so in reality it is only twice the cost of the 5% version. You would also have to apply 2.5 times the amount of the 5% to get the equivalent minoxidil to your scalp. So in realty the 12.5% is more cost effective than the 5% if you believe it is going to be more helpful to you. It has been shown that minoxidil is dose dependent so you may get further benefit from using 12.5%, but one couldn't really say for sure. If you want my advice, you should probably use the Rogaine foam. With its superior penetration you could probably achieve further results for even less money.
