Hello

Well this is my first post, but I first discovered this site about a year ago when i realized that I was drastically losing the hair at my temples, im talking several hundred hairs a day from all over the top of my head, concentrated at the crown and temples.

Having tried rogaine for over 6 months with no results other then severe shedding that made things worse, I had to use a myriad of other treatments but after trial and error, I can now say that my hair loss has not only stopped but reversed entirely. I no longer have to wear hats. Granted my temples are still thin, it is now thick and long enough that it is not noticable to anyone other then myself. As a thank you for all of the information that I have used from this website, I thought I should return the favor by posting my very successful regimen that I have been following religiously for the past year.

Every Morning
-5000 mcg of Biotin
-B Complex
-1.25 mg Finasteride

Every Night
-Avalon Organics Biotin Shampoo
-Avalon Organics Biotin Conditioner (Let soak into scalp for 10 min)
-Scalp Massage with regular comb (while in shower with conditioner in hair)
-Nioxin Scalp Treatment system 1
-Smoke some weed (im serious... It has gotten rid of all the stress and anxiety in my life)

Every 3 Days
-Nizoral (Let soak into scalp for 5-10 min)

Once a week
-Doo Gro Stimulating growth oil (apply liberally to scalp, let sit in hair for several hours, then wash out with Nizoral)

Yes its alot, but I have experienced drastic results. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures, but I now lose at most 20 hairs in the shower and ONE when I comb my entire head while dry.

Hope this helps anyone who is in a similar situation.

- Bobby

That's a lot of stuff!

Maybe you could reduce your regimen to just daily finasteride and you'd still get great results...

I've never tried weed or any recreational drugs. Does it really reduce anxiety? Are there any studies on this? Is it a safe substance? And, more importantly, is there some kind of causal relationship between anxiety and male pattern baldness?
