Is it possible just to do a few micrografts per week?

It's possible with FUE, but it's not really a strategy that makes sense:

- It takes hundreds (or thousands) of grafts to make an impact. Doing a few grafts a week would be so slow that it basically accomplishes nothing.
- The process of getting numbed up is unpleasant, and may even be unhealthy (?) if repeated excessively (there are stimulants in the numbing shots which keeps them active longer)
- If you only need a small number of grafts, then you don't really need a hair transplant, and getting one would be a mistake IMO.
- The doctors probably don't want to do that, because it takes a lot of effort to prepare for surgery, the cost of staffing, etc. Just doing a few grafts isn't profitable enough. Only doctors who are still learning would probably agree to work this way.

Also, be aware that "micrografts" are a specific type of graft and that term is probably considered outdated now. What you want are "follicular unit" grafts. All follicular unit grafts are a type of micrograft (technically speaking) but all micrografts are not follicular unit grafts. A micrograft might be bigger and less-refined (trimmed) than a "FU" graft - it's possible, depending on the clinic. If a clinic talks about "micrografts" then be careful, because they might be using outdated techniques. You'd want to investigate further, to be sure what technique they are actually using.
