My father: hair is thinninh over time, but was considerably thick at the age of 35 (old picture). In the recent years (60-65 yo) the hair loss becomes very aggresive, giving him a very big round bald patch at the back, the donor area and hair in the sides are weak.
Me: now 32-33 yo, thinning since around 24 (looking back from pictures). Much thinner hair compared to my father at the same age, on minoxidil and fina for a year and get no noticible improvement, maybe maintaining.
I am considering having a hair transplant, and a local clinic says I am a candidate (obvious thinning, good donor area). But as I see my father these days, I am worried that the donor area is not that strong over time and the result of hair transplant cannot last long.
Any thoughts?
